Street Fighter EX3 (PS2) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
542A playthrough of Capcom's 2000 versus-fighter launch game for the Sony PlayStation 2, Street Fighter EX3.
Played through on the hard difficulty level with Ken, eventually teaming up with Ryu to lay the smackdown. I fight the special (and kinda cheap!) silver version of M. Bison in the final battle.
EX 3 is the third and final main entry in the Arika developed Street Fighter EX series, and it's easily my favorite. It looked amazing when it was first released alongside the PS2, especially when compared to SF EX2 which had a PS1 release a mere ten months earlier, and it did more than either of the two previous games to change things up, offering tag and 3-on-1 battles. It's a big weird to get used to, but it does a good job of keeping you sharp. It also introduces yet another couple of new systems in its fighting mechanics with surprise attacks, momentary combos and "critical parades" that call in a tag partner to help you execute the diesel Super bar-driven special attacks. They're pretty epic in motion.
Besides that, there's only one question I have: are we ever going to get another EX game? Come on, it's been 17 years already!
It's a fantastic fighter. Play it.
