Like the other Street Fighter III games, Gill is the Final Boss (and the only one, just like 3rd Strike). The difficulty of this fight pretty much depends on one factor, which is if you are good at Parrying his attacks or not. Without Parrying, Gill rarely leaves himself open long enough for you to land a big combo, making it hard to take him down. But with Parrying, you can easily create opportunities for big damage (for instance, by Parrying his Moonsault Knee Drop).This is especially good for Sean, since he can deal massive damage and stun with very simple combos.
After beating Gill, you get a character-specific ending, a short credits sequence and a ranking screen, after which the game boots back to the opening sequence.
