Por meio de um comunicado, Dotemu e as desenvolvedoras Lizardcube e Guard Crush Games anunciaram o 2º personagem adicional da DLC “Mr. X Nightmare” de Streets of Rage 4, já disponível para as plataformas da família Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch e PC.

Trata-se de Max Thunder, personagem originalmente apresentado aos fãs em Streets of Rage 2, que estava sob controle dos filhos de Mr. X no 4º game da franquia.
