Strife: Veteran Edition - Remaster of the action-adventure game running in Doom engine

Gameplay of Strife: Veteran Edition, a remaster made by Nightdive Studios of the classic FPS Strife, released in 1996 and developed by Rogue Entertainment. This game runs inder the Doom engine, the id Tech 1, and it's highlighted by having a complex playthrough that had us going from one scenario to another talking to people and fulfilling missions, with a strong adventure component, so you can tell that the developers did an effort to make more that simply another Doom clone.
This remaster has some improvements, mainly in gameplay and graphics (lighting effects, bloom, shadows, etc). It's not the most impressive remaster you'll see, but it's not bad. And the thing about it marking the objectives on the map is nice, because this game could be very confusing with what to do next.
However, for me this remaster has something that I don't like at all, and is that it seems that internally the game runs at 70 fps (like the original on MS-DOS), as a result it doesn't adapt to the 60 hz of my screen. This causes the game not be fluid at all, with a very annoying stuttering. For this reason I prefer to play it in GZDoom.
Strife: Veteran Edition can be purchased in Steam or GOG.
