You know what was real special about this day in particular? That night was the last time I ever touched a drop of alcohol. So these two videos may not show it, but this was one of the most important days of my life. Not much happened for thunderstorms yet in this video but the cumuloform clouds are interesting to watch in retrospect. They are convecting off of nearby mountains, meanwhile you can see different layers of air moving in different directions. The upper layer you might call evidence of wind shear, something that aided the intensity of the thunderstorms that came a couple hours later that afternoon.
