This will probably be the mission that will give you the rudest start of any game. You will get attacked early, so wall up to your east. Other players have different strats for this such as using the existing walls, but I prefer taking control of the space early for building and keeping resources safe, so I build a double wall line as usual to make the enemy traverse through 2 walls.

Sir William will spam attacks at you, so be wary. He will use swordsmen at you, which are quite tanky. They will most likely aim for your lord however. You can kite these swordsmen by using archers and crossbow men, position them at the roof of your barracks such as what I did. If the aggro goes to your archer or crossbow man, simply split it up and find which unit is getting chased then keep isolating it and make him run around the barracks. Keep doing this until you built your castle to have enough production for food, weapons, etc.

Now there are 2 bandit camps here that are harassing the villages that are in them. The first one is to your immediate east where Sir william's attacks will be coming from. You can easily take it out by making a round tower and placing a mangonel to demolish the bandit camp. The second bandit camp is way up north from your keep. It harasses the village with the essential iron ore. It is highly advised you get this village and clear the bandit camp, then build iron mines, an armory and weapon and armor smiths to make plate armor and swords for you. Build a carter's post to ship these goods to your castle conveniently, rather than having to have the smiths on your estate and eating up space in your main estate. You can then focus on building honor farming buildings since Knights cost a hefty 50 honor each to recruit (but they're well worth their value).

The mission ends once you get too near the bridge going towards Sir William's castle. Make sure you already have a large army as you will be fighting 2 armies as you start the next mission.
