Stronghold 2 Path of War Chapter 9
2The last mission and ironically, the most hilarious one. Basically this mission has no time limit and your goal is to kill Lord Barclay.
To pass time, deploy your trebuchet at the top of the plateau and aim for the mangonels and siege towers. They are a pain to deal with if you cross your troops without destroying them. Use the plus key to fast forward time and the minus key to set the speed backwards.
Watch as Sir William invades Lord Barclay's castle and does all the work for you. The King will get attacked by Angus McLoud but will eventually die because the King has more powerful forces than he does.
After Sir William's troops die from his failed siege, he will spam ladder men at the enemy castle. This will cause the mangonels to fire, and eventually destroy their own defensive walls.
When enough time passes, the King's troops will eventually attack the enemy castle and kill Lord Barclay for you, eventually finishing the mission with just you standing idle lol.
