Having created our party we now start the game in earnest. The first order of business is to get everyone's keeps constructed so we have housing to attract new units. We then build a few houses in between the keeps to have additional housing to upgrade down the road. Along the way we make sure to exploit every mine possible to increase our income.

Having gotten off the ground like that, we then start building marketplaces like there's no tomorrow. Marketplaces are cheap and provide income, so they pay for themselves quickly in addition to granting access to the common fund. Each party member needs 10 to have 100% access to the common fund so we have a lot to build.

Once that's done we send our units to some nearby green terrain to get farms started. They will help boost our income, and it's never too early to start preparing for winter.
