Here is my first video for my first playlist for the Stronghold game. This isn't the Stronghold game released in 2001, but rather the somewhat forgotten D&D game from 1993. I'll be playing on Hostile (the hardest difficulty) and playing a Neutral ruler, meaning I have to both achieve the rank of Emperor and destroy all enemies in order to win.

We start with the intro cinematic for the game and then character creation. I always opt for a mage leader with dwarf, elf, cleric, and thief followers. For world 1 the best location is in the bottom left corner of the map, where a broad expanse of tan hills mean plenty of rocks to exploit for mines. The one downside to locating in the southwest corner of the map is that I have to defend the north and east sides of my stronghold, which are always the hardest to defend due to the crummy way walls work in this game.
