With our farms upgraded to plantations, it's time to go back to dealing with housing *again*. It takes quite a bit in this game to get a stable economy going with plenty of income, housing, and food. We head back to build more guest houses in the spots where our mines have been exhausted, and then we just barely have the income to start upgrading them to taverns. This will provide even more housing and income for us. You need a ridiculous surplus of housing to keep your people happy and attracting new units, and we need a similarly ridiculous amount of income because we still have lots of expensive buildings to build, like training halls, forges, armories, etc.
