SU-35 Filmed at 120fps ✈️ Can Even See How Nozzles and Stabs Move! :D
We shot the Freewing Su-35 at 120fps with the GH5 and this is the result, you can see all the movements of the stabs and nozzles up close and in detail when the jet is close by and see how the inputs and corrections are performed throughout the maneuvers!
The high alpha scenes are particularly cool, don't you think? :D ❤️
Playback speed isn't altered except for two very short moments, so you can assume the entire video to be playing at 50% real time.
Aerobatic capability knows no limits with this model's design!

Regarding my SU-35 setup:
This is a fairly modded Freewing SU-35S. It includes a gyro for the TV nozzles to help perform extreme hover and high alpha maneuvers (Stabilizing functions are only turned on for particular maneuvers).
As for the jet itself, the SU-35S is well known for its supermaneuverability features, that are a result of a good aerodynamic design coupled with the use of thrust vectoring nozzles.
The pilot displays a few post-stall maneuvers using the TV nozzles that would be otherwise impossible to perform with a normal jet aircraft.
