Ayy, an original piece! This one is certainly one of my best pieces. Super fast, super thrashy, but also slow and melodic in places. If you want to know, or have an incling, it was heavily inspired by The Defiant by Trivium, off their record they released at the beginning of this year, What the Dead Men Say. I love that song so much. I happened to come up with a riff that was somewhat similar to it, and was very influenced by it.
One of my greatest solos, one of the greatest videos I've ever shot, some of the most challenging rhythm playing I've ever had to do. So much time and effort went into making this piece. Not to mention, being a bit of an experiment in what next years videos may be like. Even some editing trickery I got to mess with, such as artificially making a film style aspect ratio. It looks fantastic! I hope you enjoy it! :)
