This... was probably my worst stream thus far. No audience whatsoever, and while I am enjoying the game... it's become clear that focusing on certain side-stories is hampering my progress big-time. So, from here on out, I'll be ignoring the larger-scale ones. But don't worry: I have plans to revisit both PS2 games later on, for more *thorough* explorations.

So yeah, I didn't finish a single chapter this time around, mainly due to remaining focused on the host club mission... and discovering that apparently the cabaret mini-game (which I had originally presumed was added to Kiwami 2 as a nod to Zero) actually existed in this game already, albeit in a far more primitive form. That was certainly an interesting turn of events... and something I never really expected to pick up on.

I am honestly enjoying the more dramatic bits of the story thus far, particularly some of the revelations. And honestly, going back to Sotenbori is a treat. Honestly, I can see why this game was originally released in Japan on two single-layer discs: it was likely one town per disc... which just kind of sounds unwieldy. Definitely happier with the Western release, which crammed the whole thing onto a single double-layer disc.

But next time, I'm gonna try to push my way through at hyper-speed and make up some of the past few streams' shortfall. Games I enjoy just don't play well to my audience, so I've gotta push on through back to misery. Still aiming to finish this game in 9 streams.
