Another stream, another two chapters down. With just two chapters left before the game's over, I'm planning to finish off the game on Thursday, come Hell or high water. ...and having said that, I've all but guaranteed that I'll probably hit some massive snag during Chapter 15, that will make me look like a total moron. Oh well, at least I'm feeling confident at the time of this writing.

Did not see that big story twist coming: that Kaoru's father was actually Kawara? I guess we were all just supposed to assume that that baby from the opening was Kaoru. With that out of the way -- plus a few other clues -- I think it's pretty obvious who that baby was, but I'm not even gonna bother spoiling it, because who knows? Maybe I'm completely wrong and the game will shock me even more with its conclusion.

The only other thing I can really say is that all this stream has done for me is support my running theory that people absolutely despise watching my streams when I'm actually enjoying them. And while it's good practice for a couple of other projects I'm considering starting down the line, it's been getting kind of lonely. I just think it's ironic that Dari outright complained about how I saw everything coming during my Yakuza 1 stream... and yet, it was when I was going in blindly that he ditched me. I dunno, maybe the interest in my streams correlate to how enjoyable they are to watch. Or maybe since Dari missed a few streams, he feels intimidated by the game's highly cerebral storyline. Who knows? At least KI should be back when I start my next game. It's just kind of depressing having that empty chat hanging around there. If I weren't so focused on just playing the game, I'd start typing some random crap in there to entertain myself. Maybe I'll do that on my phone next time, even if it's too little, too late.
