All Your Base Are Belong to Us!

Edit 2018: This vid is of a 2016 beta version of the game. I used a similar base layout in my playthrough of the final version - And what an amazing game! It's rare that an early access title delivers on and surpasses what it promised!

In this 2016 beta, beds were just furniture, and it was hard to knife melons while in their grow trays. Reapers used to leave their spawn zones and venture into the safe shallows and randomly kill your parked vehicles - Fortunately they fixed that too. :)

----Original Description----

Base layout I've been using for the past 3 playthroughs - I love this game. :) It sports 2 Moonpools for keeping vehicles safe from marauding Reapers (if only they were 2 berth), observatory with a single growbed for marble melons, a crafting/storage room, large aquarium below it, living quarters, and space for a nuclear reactor if not near a thermal vent.

You don't need much more space than this to sustain yourself - And can be done with less space, even. The glass tunnel, living quarters, extra moonpool and observatory aren't really needed, but hey, vanity and all that.

I like to put the crafting stations on glass walls to have a pretty backdrop while I stare at crafting menus. :) (They removed this feature in final :( )
