Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Season 2, Part 6! Alright, I have solve my food problems, time for my water problems in Subnautica . The idea to use airsacks is ok, but in long-term I have to use a lot of them in order to make a proper water supply and having a good supply of water will be important in future of Subnautica for better exploration. Soo we need to find a Filtration Machine. In Subnautica a Filtration Machine can make not only water but also salt and we can use salt for first aid kits. Thanks to the diamond I have found 2 episodes ago I can make a cutter in order to get inside a wreck to find a Filtration Machine. First wreck is in red grass plateau. The same one I did explore in previous episode of Subnautica. I did found there the Filtration Machine blueprint and I do count it will happen again.
Well that would be beautiful if everything would went soo smouth right ? Well… Problem is I didn’t found the thing I need in the wreck, if not in this one then that means the Filtration Machine must be in other wreck in Subnautica. From the developer website I know that they added several wrecks all over the map of Subnautica, we just need to check for a different one and hope the Filtration Machine will be there. Since I didn’t found the blueprint and need to look for more wrecks I decided its time to look for magnesium, that thing will be needed for a repair tool – not really I found that the hard way…
In Subnautica magnesium can be found bellow 200 Meters at the edge of the map, soo time for some exploring, sad part of this idea is that I sill lack the moon pool blueprint in Subnautica, the room needed for upgrading the seamoth. Soo I need to keep an eye for my depth matter otherwise I may explode my seamoth and that would suck. I had already left one at the island. Tho I plan to have three seamoths at max in Subnautica during this let’s play. But first things frist for now let’s focus on the Filtration Machine and then we can think about other stuff. Also in the wrecks there are other items to search for, in future updates of Subnautica Wrecks will play a very important role for useful blueprint source soo I do wonder actually how do devs plan to do so since the diamonds needed for a cutter are soo far away from the first wrecks and player starting position in Subnautica.
