Subnautica Gameplay - EXPLORING THE DEPTHS (Early Access)
198Subnautica, an upcoming game by Unknown Worlds. Your terraforming ship crash lands and you are stuck to survive in an alien worlds ocean. The game is still in early access (earliest access as the devs call it), but this video shows off the ocean floor, some things you can craft, talks a little about the back story and the game, and shows off what is available so far. This is kind of my first impressions and first look.

"The devs said that in normal mode you will have a specific amount of time to prepare the planet for a colonist ship to arrive. Hardcore mode will delete your save file if you die."
"Preorder for the Earliest Early Access package "10,000 Limited Sales" .. you get a Hull plate for the Cyclops Submarine, when you die your body will sink to the surface the coordinates will be relayed to a main server and other people playing the game will be able to come across the sub wreckage and your corpse loot you and see that particular hull plate.. Multiplayer wasn't planned but they will think long and hard about a very distant future MP release.
There will be larger Sea creatures in the game that will interact and attack even the largest of submarines, so far in game now the dive limit is over 2km deep but eventually they dream to make it so you could potentially dive even deeper and uncover stranger things the further you go.
at some point in the future for this game they want to make an eco system so if you go around destroying coral reef then it will effect the fish population in that area, or you can research the coral and plant your own increasing specific fish in different areas.
your Hull can be cracked and damaged causing the submarine you are using to fill with water and slowly begin to sink to the ocean floor repairing it and then bailing the water you can recover your submarine and you'll be able to reinforce the HULL making it stronger and more reliable when crashing or bumping them big ocean creatures.
"possibly in the late late future there will also be the chance to use a drill arm on a mechsuit to drill caves on the sea floor making new paths to new areas.."
