Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Season 2, Part 17! New Furniture in Subnautica! Items like Vending Machine, Bar Table, Lab Counter but also bags , trash cans and other!
Today we will make a true real base, with real furniture. A base with a little bit of life in it!
The new furniture in #Subnautica require from You to restart the game once again. That Is a pain yes, but remember that Subnautica is still in early access. After restarting the game and building the basic equipment its time to roll out. In Subnautica there are few types of wrecks. There are parts of the Aurora wrecks that appear after the explosion, there are destroyed life pods all over the Subnautica sea. But now there are also smaller derby and wrecks around. In those we can find new furniture. You must remember that the new furniture does don’t give You any advantage. But its just a cool thing to do in Subnautica. Making a true laboratory. Building a rest room, bed room, Making Your base a home. Most of the new furniture will require scanning so bring the scanner with You. There are a few lowly Derbs near the starting location in the shallow waters biome.
Looking for a Lab Counter furniture fragment ? In the Derbs from the life pod to the Floaters island there near a Kelp forest in derby You will find one. Along with a bag for decorating the base.
Also if You are looking for the vending machine there is also there. You don’t need to scan more then one fragment of the new Furniture. Keep in mind that the new furniture in Subnautica will have a use in future updates. What exactly, it is unknown. With the Bar tables You can make a lowly restaurant in the bottom of the sea of Subnautica adding a little plants and the Base will be way more intresting then it was, but for that we will need seeds from Floaters island, it's location is mark in my preview Subnautica Episodes. Also a interesting thing is that the Vending machine is coming from Natural Selection another game from the Developers of Subnautica.
I didn’t found any useful furniture in the large Aurora wrecks. Expect for the standard one like Water Filtration systems, pictures frames, pots for plants and Cyclops Hull fragments and benches. A interesting thing is that in the big wrecks seamoth fragments can spawn inside the wrecks along with Cyclops fragments. In the Red Grass Plateau I found a bar table along with trash cans. If You plan to collect items and furniture from that Biome in Subnautica, keep in mind the Sand Sharks that patrol and hunt in that biome. The wreck where I found the Bar Table and trash can is to the left from the Aurora crash site. With more Furniture I plan to finish the base more so it will be way more present for an eye.
