Welcome everybody! To Let's Play The Forest - Gameplay! Part 5! As I was exploring the Forest in the last episode I found a cave entrance. Since our camp is secured I belive it’s the right time to investigate but first we need to inform the locals cannibals of the hierarchy.
In other words, Let’s Burn the villages!
After a few tries I found out the hard way, the cannibal villages in the Forest can’t be destroyed or burned down. But I did found another cave entrance in the main cannibal village.
Caves are a very dark place, full of bodies. But also there is no food there for us to eat or water. If You plan to do a cave exploring You need to remember a few things, You need to have a supply of torches or other burning materials, a good weapon, food and water, some armor parts are also welcome.
As I venture in to the cave in The Forest I found out that some of the body's are held down here. And most of the supply cannibals do not understand are store here in caves.
Cave Exploring is a good thing, You will never know what kind of items You could find to help You survive in the Caves or the Forest.
In the first cave I have venture in to I found a compass and a cave map. The compass is a questionable item and its usefulness for now at last since I know my way around more or less. But the cave map will help me greatly, first however we need to do a little bit of cave exploring before I will be able to actually use the map as for now it’s the map of caves is empty. Further in to the cave exploring I found more bodies and a few cannibals. Along with lot’s of coins and other money but also another entrance to the cave. It was the same entrance I found before in the last episode of The forest. So I do think the cannibals use the Caves here to fast travel under The forest and appear around the place. There have to be more exits in this Cave system. Near the end of this cave system I found a little lake along with a little waterfall going in to the Caves from the Forest and some very strange noises. As I was resting outside of the Cave I did craft myself a bow but I’m lacking arrow for those I will need fathers and I still do not know how to gather them. apparently the bird in The Forest feed on dead bodies. That cold be useful. An important thing is in the Caves You can construct things, like torches or fireplaces. I do not know is setting a camp here is a good idea as waking up and finding Yourself surrounded by cannibals sounds like a bad idea.
Also while I was cave exploring I found body drawings, kid drawing. Maybe made by Timmy the unwanted son or somebody else. It’s hard to say, next to the sacrifice table there was also a strange object maybe a toy maybe some type of odd worshiping item.
