Subterranean Animism - All Satori's Spells Pacifist - Lunatic
82This is a project that has been a long time under way. I've been working on it pretty on and off since Lunatic Red had this event dedicated to the game. One of the challenges in this event was to capture all of Satori's spells with different amounts of creds being awarded depending on the difficulty you did it on.
I of course fulfilled that challenge but got the idea that it would be fun to time out all of her attacks. And that is what I have finally gotten done with now. There were some that were absolute blasts to work on. There were others that made me never want to play Stage 4 again.
All in all though, Satori is fucking awesome. Someone like her needs to return to Touhou as the Stage 4 boss so we can get something interesting and challenging and not useless little bitch like Seiga who thinks she can hide her complete incompetence under a pretty face.
No. That just doesn't work. A good game requires some effort put into its design and it requires some interesting ideas. But enough about that. That is not what we are here for today. This is the result of my stubborn persistence combined with my bullet dodging skills.
Since listening to the same part of Satori's theme over and over again was aggravating enough for me while trying to annotate the 2nd iteration of this video, I decided to screw it and upload this third one with some fan arrangements of Satori's theme as BGM.
The first one is pretty generic but not bad I suppose. I just needed something to start it all off with and something like this felt appropriate. After than I use a pretty nice piano arrange which strongly contrasts the other one. After that goes one the most awesome songs based on 3rd Eye I ever heard. And I normally don't even like vocal arrangements. Imagine that. Finally just some Demetori to finish it up.
