57My Middara kickstarter pledge arrived. Time to dig straight into the resins!
Today I'm going to focus on the four main characters. I figure we'll build the guest modes at a later time.
Be advised there are some tiny pieces. Make sure you build these in a well lit area, or you'll be like me scrounging around on the floor trying to feel where that little lost piece is. Not fun!
Models are mostly complete- they just need lots of little things attached. I thought the boys were the easier pair, whereas the ladies had what seem to be 3D printed parts that are very small and really require some precision to get them attached.
The biggest issue with the girls is just how delicate the models are. I worry about Remi being able to stand. Everyone else is pretty solid, but between standing on her tippy toes and having her huge wings spread out around the base, she just feels like she's asking for trouble. Nightingale's necklace I fear will get broken eventually as well.
At least these are just alt models- there's nothing stopping one from continuing to use the plastic models in the game after all. We'll see how easy the other six models are. I've been hearing rumblings online, so I'm curious to see how it goes!
