Yedharo Models- Leo and Taurus, Lionmen and Minotaurs of the Zodiac!
83I'm generally happy to pick up models from Yedharo whenever they turn up on kickstarter or in their store. They're usually resin, big, and a bit of a different take on the usual fantasy subjects.
This set was themed around the zodiac, so I figured there'd be some monstrous humanoids I'd be interested in, or an homage to Final Fantasy Tactics. Either way I knew I wouldn't be disappointed!
I got both Leo variants- the savage one is the regular, whereas the regal paladin type was the kickstarter exclusive. Also grabbed a Taurus model just because... minotaurs. Can't have enough of those.
Details look good, but the figures have some pretty obvious gaps in them. I recall having similar issues with the savage orcs.
I'm curious what material this is. It's obviously some sort of resin, but I vaguely recall seeing that Yedharo was working with that Siocast casting techniques, something that Effin' Cool Minis was going to be using in the future as well.
Honestly, other than the gaps needing filling, these are solid models, if a little bit bigger than the average tabletop human. Even better, if you like larger models, Yedharo usually does 75mm versions as well!
