Dr. Kaii came up with a sudden expedition without telling people where it would be headed, because of the recent implementation of the Guardian FSD Boosters making that location accessable for people who didn't have god rolls on their engineering upgrades.

This expedition was meant as a prelude and a test of organisational skills of the community for Distant Worlds 2, and more such things are to follow.
