Description:

This is my second AI Album, this time made using Suno AI. In comparison to Udio, Suno generates the whole songs at once, no need to build from 30 seconds snippets. In time of creation of the "Shadows and Whispers" album in Udio, Suno was still v3.0, in which you can't do songs longer than 2 minutes. Then version 3.5 was released, in which duration of the songs increased up to 4 minutes, which made possible for me to make some Suno AI album. But it still requires patience to make the song you will actually like. It took about 2 weeks for me to make this album.

This time I decided not to make the gothic, dark, atmospheric music album as I did in Udio, instead I made a more of a synthpop/synthwave/EBM album, however some of the songs ("Midnight Dreams" for example) are made in a rock style. "Down by the River" is the only song, both versions of which was to good to keep, so I decided to include both the first as a main and the second as an alternate version.

"Shadows and Whispers" album was made in style of the band The Birthday Massacre, but in Suno you can't do music in style of various artists, you can only prompt music genres, all the stuff will be completely original. Also, Suno renders the audio in 192 kb/s bitrate, instead of Udio's 320 kb/s. Also I used Leonardo AI for the artwork again. Most of the songs in this album are city/neon lights themed, so the artwork in this theme as well.

This album was made during last month, before the free Upload Feature update, so the songs are made standart way, not based on the uploaded pieces of music. All the music and lyrics are generated by Suno automatically. Originaly I planned to release this album in June 28, but because of the release of "Shrouds of Night" music video I decided to delay this release for a while.
