I hadn't played any Barb levels in Super Mario Maker 2 yet, so when Super Worlds were released and Barb put one up, I was all over it.
These are just the clears, which is fine because the parts where I wasn't getting the clear wasn't that interesting anyway. This was streamed live on Twitch at https://twitch.tv/mmuurphy

Well if you can tell by the look on my face I was not enjoying myself. Reality is I just stink with the Tanooki. This actually helped me get the flutter timing down much better though. The last half of the level was legit fun and easy.

Again, I am a sucker for NSMBU. Not typically huge on the night airship, but this opens me up a bit. The gravity is just right for setups. Cool bomb spin. Cool spring throw. Cool stuff falling slowly.

Another level that deserved more credit than I was giving it. Sometimes I'm just a real sourpuss. But timing things through clear pipes is always a little annoying. No clue what was intended at the end, but that's how I did it.

It would have been cool to play this in a better mood. Triggering that first thwomp was giving me trouble and it set the tone for a bit after. This is the kind of tightness and difficulty I'm typically most interested in though. Night airship makes another appearance and kicks my booty with a POW throw. Cool how the floor slowly falls away and you even use some of it to take out enemies.

I'm running out of praise. Incredible use of the dry bones shell. In and out of it. Kicking it. Hitting bombs to clear its travel path. Some of the movement in the lava was meh, which is apparent towards the end. Just realized watching to type this that if you would crush to pass the saw you would skip CP1. That wasn't troll avoidance as much as I wanted the checkpoint and didn't care about the shell. Another tough as nails level that I don't remember being very tough but it looks like it asks a lot of the player. I guess by World 5 I was getting fairly decent at this.
