Super Boot Manager allows you to easily change Plymouth Boot screen animation and use a different animated picture theme.
There are a verity of Themes to choose from, including: Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mint, and Windows 7.
It comes with the ability re-enable a high resolution display on Plymouth after Proprietary graphics drivers have been installed.

It can also alter the appearance of Grub Boot Screen giving you the option of changing background picture and text colours.

It also has another really nice feature, the ability to install Next Generation Grub Screen - BURG. BURG offers a whole new appearance to OS Selector screen with really nice backgrounds and fancy text and icon effects. There are a selection of themes to choose from.

Super Boot Manager can remove BURG and restore traditional GRUB menu.

Install Instructions via Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ingalex/super-boot-manager
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install super-boot-manager

Take a note of the Repository - ppa:ingalex/super-boot-manager
