As our first chance space conflict turns to a close, the intrigue of diplomacy turns into trying to placate my neighbors with cold, hard cash. Truth be told, I'm feeling a little stuck due to the lack star density of the map and I'd love to hear from you all about what I can do about it. I have some other thoughts too, especially considering far more interesting starts and game play I've seen in other saves.

I also apologize for zoning out a few times this episode. It has been a long long long past few weeks. I know Distant Worlds 2 has only been out for a few weeks. But March has been the kind of month where I've had to put everything on the back burner but work.

Distant Worlds 2 is the follow up to Distant Worlds: Universe, and it's fair to say that not breaking a working formula has been the right play. The UI and presentation has been greatly improved, but Distant Worlds 2 still holds onto its mostly 4x roots where you are free to automate as much as you want while watching the private economy prop up your empire. Look out for blind tech tree excitement AND new story events that continues the story from Universe. Prior experience not required.
