Word of mouth led me to Core Keeper, and it's definitely a game to keep an eye on for the future (especially if you like co-op). It's been touted as top down Terraria with a mix of Stardew Valley. Now, when I heard Stardew Valley I was curious about where the Pelican Town equivalent was. Turns out, the comparison is more because you can grow stuff and the dungeoning is very similar to the Caves in Stardew Valley. Still, there's a very well polished, if familiar, base line for the game to build on.
