Super Boy II (Master System) Playthrough
A playthrough of Zemina's 1989 platformer for the Sega Master System, Super Boy II.
Shortly after the release of the original Super Boy game (https://youtu.be/1BMK0CIJ8oA), Zemina decided that it would be prudent to unleash a sequel on the South Korean market.
Like the first, Super Boy II is an SG-1000 game that was packaged and sold as a Master System game. It, too, is a bootleg Mario clone, and not much has changed from Super Boy I. It feels more like an expansion pack than a proper sequel - the graphics, sound, enemies, and power-ups are identical. The level layouts are new and the castle messages have changed, but it's otherwise the same game.
There's really not much more to say about it. I liked Super Boy I and Super Boy II offered more of the same.
One thing amazing to note, though - check our what happens to the flower at 1:16. O_o Is that Percy from Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom?
