Hooray for my first HD upload! =D
This glitch is extremely easy to perform. Just go onto the castle's roof and go to the back right part of it and try to get as close to the corner of the edge possible and let mario catch onto the corner. Pull yourself up and mario's hat will disappear and you will see the Bowser death thing and you will lose a life... Or in my case get a "Game Over". Enjoy!

LOL for my Epic Lag computer during recording process! And sorry about the small video screen size. Just watch in HD and make full screen and it should be okay. Please try not to get too bothered by it.
