Just to clarify: Mario must die inside the fireplace, without using the jet of fire. In other words, you need the "Mario on fire bouncing up and down" animation rather than the "Mario running around while on fire" animation when you die.

This one was hard, but fun. And for the first time in a while, I'm actually happy with the time that I ended up with. I don't think this can be sped up except maybe like an extra long jump while running next to the maze (but then you go too far for the walljumping part) and the unnecessary kick when entering the fireplace. But if you don't enter that thing at the proper angle, you bounce right out of it, so I was trying to ensure that I stayed facing perpendicular.
