When you beat Level 7 for the first time, or input your name as a specific code, you get the ability to play as Luigi. Just like in Super Mario Bros. 2, Luigi can jump higher and use a flutter jump, but is slower than Mario. Combined with Bunny ears, Luigi can float twice the distance Mario can. In addition, Luigi's story is slightly different. Luigi thinks he's going to be the hero this time around, but there's a few surprises awaiting everyone at the end.
For this video, I'm only going to show the fight against Bowser/Giga Bowser. But what I really want you to see is the ending, and how Luigi's story is different from Mario's.
