Part one of an ongoing series where we casually practice runs of SMB3 Randomized * Streamed live on Feb. 8th, 2021

Super Mario Brothers 3 is a game near and dear to my heart, and easily hands down my favourite video game and favourite platformer~ In an attempt to get better at randomizer runs of the game, and also an attempt to find a beatable seed (similar to our SMW Randomizer series) ~ What is randomized? See below:

~ Randomized / shuffled Regular Stages, Fortresses, Airships and Castles
~ Randomized World Order & Warp Zones
~ Randomized World, Stage & Enemy Color Palettes
~ Randomized Enemies & Koopa Kid HP
~ Randomized Item Blocks & Toad House Items
~ Randomized Music
~ Hammer Item now breaks open Locks on the overworld map

Our goal in this randomizer is to survive and beat Bowser, if we can find a beatable seed that doesn't create a level loop or a world loop (in other words, a dead end where no progress can be found). This can happen a lot in randomizers and is what makes things tricky. It is way more chaotic than SMW Randomizer ~ I'm practicing with the randomizer to see what it throws at me, and get good enough at the game to enter a SMB3 Randomizer Race someday.
