This take was played on a real NES console on my 14" Magnavox CRT TV using an original NES controller and the Powerpak flash cartridge.

I have a copy of the original Super Mario Bros. for NES and wanted to play some hacks and randomizers based on it as well.

Level-Headed is a program that allows you to take your Super Mario Bros. rom and patch it with some randomizer options to create a custom hack for yourself. It is better than a lot of other randomizers because it even builds custom levels for you and integrates art, sounds, music and powerups that come from other hacks. It is unlikely that anyone will ever get the exact same result as you, even if you generate thousands of games.

This is just a full playthrough with the game's audio only and no commentary.

During this playthrough I completed the game.

In set 4, the generator options were set to Mario and Luigi as the playable characters, Normal difficulty, SMB1 physics with 2 player mode available, and basic modifications to the graphics and music.

In this rom (0002), The powerup was a wand that gives Mario the power to throw bubbles that bounce along and can go through multiple enemies.

This video was the fifth one recorded with OBS Studio instead of Streamlabs OBS where I didn't quite have the audio source options set correctly. The audio was missing from the beginning but comes back and in sync during level 3-4. After this video, I seem to have figured out the input device I needed to use instead and permanently fixed my audio issues.
