Have you ever played Super Mario Land 2 and thought, wouldn't a sequel for this on Super Nintendo just be DANDY?

Well, rom hacker Gamma V has you covered with Super Mario Land 3: Tatanga's Return.

It's a ROM hack of Super Mario World for SNES, and features extensive aesthetic changes and completely new level designs.

While the exact date of the full release of Tatanga's Return alludes me, it looks to me the first completed version came out in April of 2016, and you can tell that it has the polish of a more recently released game.

Gamma V certainly does produce some stellar Super Mario Rom Hacks, and the first I've ever fully played through, Super Mario Land 3 Tatanga's Return, is definitely pushing me to play more of em.
