Super Metroid Redux is a hack of original USA release of Super Metroid that adds many visual / audio / technical improvements, with it's other notable feature is the inclusion of "Hard Mode" introduced by other Metroid franchise entries. The other important feature is widescreen support.

This run is set on Hard Mode. Widescreen support is still buggy in both the hack and the emulator that supports it (BSNES), so for now I decided play the game with normal aspect ratio. I will play through the widescreen version when it's more or less stabilized.
