Dragoon:
The Hyper Beam is fun to use and crazily powerful; however, I find it weird that it shoots only 1 beam per shot, but I believe that is because the Hyper Beam is not stacked up with the Power Beam or the other 5 Beam Upgrades. Although rescuing the Etecoons and Dachora (with possibly her egg) in the Morph Ball Bomb Upgrade Room is entirely optional, it is considered canonical as they appear later on in Metroid Fusion.
Samus:
There's no way I can look at myself if I didn't help them.

Same here. Too bad the Tatori couldn't be rescued since the mother only attacked Samus to defend her young. Interesting to note that this is probably the ONLY time when Samus goes through the same escape tower twice during a countdown. Where exactly do you get these insane doomsday bombs capable of destroying a planet?

This is the first time I got the "best" ending for Super Metroid, other playthrough attempts I got the one where she simply opens her helmet. Interesting to note that we get the very first game appearance of Samus' own logo in the series, even though it was based on the Screw Attack upgrade.
