Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - Mewtwo
*Read description first*
"But does he strike back harder than ever?!" Palutena asked the audience. "Hey, why didn't you pit him against Lucario?"
"I'm not going to fuel that misguided fiery thought everyone has about those two," Chris said defiantly.
"But why me?" Sonic asked with a gruff expression.
"Sonic, as the most important third party rep of this game, you have the honor to face him first than anyone else."
Sonic grinned...for a brief moment before looking bored at Chris. "Nice try, but that's not gonna change the fact I got mauled psychically. I have a naaaasty bad record against psychics, y'know. And before you say something like how can I remember that much if my memory of that event got erased...Sonic Generations happened."
"Enough about you, hedgehog. It's time to focus on Mewtwo," Palutena said, much to Sonic's chagrin.
Key Notes:
Mewtwo
- This game was kind to Mewtwo as it now has increased launch rate for many of its attacks. Speaking of which, it retains the same B moves, but its Shadow Ball somehow can't damage opponents while it is charging. Some of its Smash attacks have been revamped and are stronger.
- It doesn't feel as floaty as before, but the game points out that its tall body and light weight make it an easy target, except it is stronger.
- Unless they haven't been finished yet, Mewtwo has no Custom Moves.
- Its male voice is deeper than in Melee, and no voice clips were reused from its transition. Miriam Pultro, stay home, please.
- Despite a trophy with Mewtwo already being there, the game makes no effort to rename its fighter trophy with its normal trophy. They have the same name but different descriptions.
- And yes, this game keeps the tradition of not giving the Pokémon cast their Shiny colors from the games... But hey, Shadow Lugia skin!
- WARNING: For whatever reason you may want to do, do NOT use Mewtwo in 10-Man Smash for the Wii U version. It corrupts the game by banning you from going online.
Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
