Doing Simon's Classic Mode run.

"Oh, thank me. It's about time we got the right man for the job," Palutena said.

"What do you mean by that?" Simon asked, looking curious.

"You see, we've been having...issues with a certain evil monster," she said. "I've been hoping to see you in person to commission you to smite this evil being for good, knowing that you're an expert in exorcising and all that stuff." She handed him a piece of paper than he took and looked over. "I have here all the important details you need to know in facing this monster."

"Wait, what monster have we been having trouble with?" Viridi asked.

"Hmm..." Simon read the paper out loud. "Highly tied to darkness, can summon demons from the underworld to do its bidding, tries to keep up its appearance at all times, teases people with its alluring moves, shows off its dreadful power at every chance it gets, likes to pull off erotic pose-"

Hearing that last part made Chris realize what "monster" she was talking about that he groaned. "Oh, lord, she's commissioning Simon to exorcise Bayonetta," he said.

"W-what? The witch of darkness?" Simon said in surprise. "But, she doesn't really have any evil intentions as a being wielding dark powers. She is one of the rarest examples of a person using the forces of the underworld for good."

Palutena sighed. "Should have known this was not going to end with a happy ending," she said.

"In any case... I won't exorcise Bayonetta," Simon said, tearing the paper in two.

Viridi sighed next. "It's like these filthy humans really like to watch us squirm against that witch woman," she lamented. "And you all think I'm crazy for wanting to exterminate humanity."

"That is...supposed to make people pity you?" Simon questioned.

"Shush, you pathetic exorcist!"

Simon winced. "I had no idea you'd be so perturbed by the witch," he said.

Palutena looked terrified. "S-she likes to bully us," she said.

Viridi gulped. "S-she doesn't hold back on us innocent girls," she said.

"All because she's trying to personify karma because of you two making fun of everyone else," Chris pointed out.

"Ahh." Simon nodded. "Then perhaps it's best she stays to keep you both in line." The two goddesses glared his way. "If...you are that wary of her, maybe you should stop humiliating people for your own amusement?"

The goddesses shared blank looks, rubbed their chins, scratched their heads, looked up in deep thought, contemplated the suggestion, rested their cheeks on their palms, grumbled, and finally turned his way to say, "No," at the same time.

"...Very well, then," Simon said. "Let the status quo remain." The two goddesses groaned out loud while Chris chuckled at their expense.

Key Notes:

Classic Mode Overview (repeated in every other character video)
- Unlike before, you will never start your difficulty at the maximum difficulty (9.9). The limit you can start is at 5.0.
- However, depending on how well you do in every fight, the difficulty will steadily increase. The factors that contribute an increase are if you...
1) ...finished the fight as quickly as possible.
2) ...didn't stay put or mess around.
3) ...actually managed to avoid damage altogether (meaning a perfect run, which doesn't really guarantee an extra point).
- At best, you can get a whole point (or more) added to difficulty. At worst, you get nothing. "Nice Plays" may just be compliments that usually are around 0.8 additions. Do your best to get to the end of the mural.
- Using tickets avoids losing difficulty, but in case the difficulty is still increasing, you'll get a 0.1 increase if you win a match...and never reach 9.9.
- Oh, and you only get ONE life. Lose it, and you'll either spend money to continue while losing difficulty, use a Ticket without the drawback, or simply give up.
- Classic Mode runs for every character aren't the same anymore. Instead of random setups, every character has a set path revolving around a theme. No differences will be made if you retry the same route.

Simon's Final Boss
- Dracula, because the hands aren't vampires.
- You can deal a lot of damage to Dracula by tossing axes. Just do so before he manifests on the stage, as tossing axes leaves Simon vulnerable to punishment. Do short-hops to strike his face with Simon's whip.
- Generally speaking, Simon is TOO DAMN CLUNKY AND SLOW. The tip of his whip deals a lot of damage and has a lot of knockback, but the fact he moves rather slow when doing so makes it so predictable for the AI (or a really good evasive opponent) to dodge. Furthermore, he has a terrible air game. Simon's style is all about putting pressure on the foe, though he's easy picking when fighting up-close, where he must push his opponents away to knock them out the stage with his whip attacks.
- If you want to get used to Simon or at least his style, use Richter.

Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
