Superman Interview: Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, Anthony Carrigan & Edi Gathegi
750With Superman, writer-director James Gunn is not only bringing the iconic Last Son of Krypton to screen, but he's also introducing a trio of metahumans who call themselves the Justice Gang. The upcoming film sets the foundation for the rebooted DC Universe, and while all eyes are on David Corenswet as the titular hero and his civilian counterpart, Clark Kent, the Man of Steel isn't the only super-powered individual in the film.
In Superman, Isabela Merced portrays Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi steps into the role of Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion brings cocky charm to Guy Gardener, the most hot-headed (and punchable) Green Lantern, while Anthony Carrigan brings the shape-shifting Metamorpho to the screen with a deeply tragic edge.
In an interview with Collider's Perri Nemiroff, Carrigan, Fillion, Gathegi, and Merced discuss becoming the Justice Gang, and why each of their characters signed the contract to be part of the team. Plus, Carrigan dives into why he was able to find a connection to Metamorpho, and the hours-long transformation required to turn him into "artwork."
