I got a donation of three SuperMicro machines. In this video I go through the first steps I do when getting new hardware. We do an inventory of what kind of hardware we can see. Look at the bios changing the IPMI settings and flash the bios to the latest version. Last but not least, I talk about the ipmiview application and what kind of data we can see in the GUI, and what functionality we get managing our servers.
