#SuperOldGameSaturday - Namco Museum Virtual Arcade (Xbox 360)
Originally Recorded/Aired on Friday, May 5th, 2023
It's time for #SuperOldGameSaturday's third annual compilation program, but unlike the last 2 years where it was on Memorial Day weekend, it's on Cinco De Mayo for 2023 and we have our biggest one so far for you with our long-awaited Namco night. As we always do for these shows, either myself, guests or "the best chat on Twitch" picks a classic game compilation that we'll then go deep into as we sample, savor or perhaps shudder at all of the games out of it and, for this one, we played 2008's Namco Museum Virtual Arcade for the Xbox 360 and its 34 titles. Pac-Man, Rally-X, Dig Dug, Mappy, Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man, Sky Kid and many more are part of this collection and we had a great time as we played them all, including the infamous The Tower of Druaga that we told the legend of, including in a YouTube-exclusive segment with a special guest and their first experience with the game. On top of that, we went into other entries in the Namco Museum series (some that do the "Museum" thing more than this does, to be honest), other compilations we're planning, our memories and thoughts on this collection and its offerings, aspects of difficult game licensing and much more, all of which I thank our great chat for (including ElecVerse, Cazim22 and Proterova). Below are the timestamps for each of the games we played in this great show, so I hope you enjoy our time with Namco Museum Virtual Arcade and everything we played within it (and if you like what you see, stop by https://www.twitch.tv/captainditrag to see these streams live and join/help drive the conversations on what we play each week and also, to see the schedule for our next show, which is this Saturday night at 7PM EST)!
