#SuperOldGameSaturday - Shadow Hearts (PlayStation 2) - Part 6
Originally Recorded/Aired on March 4th, 2023
We have a quicker return for March's part of Shadow Hearts for PlayStation 2 on #SuperOldGameSaturday with TheCrochetNerd64 guiding us and, with this part, we complete the game with its good ending after completing the side-quests and travelling into the Float for the final battle. So, why is this not the Finale of the game? Well, because as great as the good ending is, it's not canonical to this franchise and its sequels, so we'll have the final part next month on April 15th showing off the bad ending, as well as all of the entries in the bestiary, all the special weapons and armors we didn't show here and a bit of a surprise bonus game of TheCrochetNerd64's choosing (and even I'm not sure yet what he's got up his sleeve, so be sure to come back for that). For this part, though, we got through what we needed to in record time, thanks to TheCrochetNerd64's expert guidance on this underrated 2001 RPG and we had a great time as we had even more story developments in the side-quests (including full closure for basically every character in the game, big and small), saw a bunch of voiced cutscenes and went in deep with this game and other gaming topics of interest on the minds of the both of us and the best chat on Twitch, who were also very active and excited for how this part went down (and rightly so). TheCrochetNerd64 has done a great job bringing this game to all of us (and convincing me to buy a copy and further plead for a modern release of it), to which I can't thank him enough, as well as the chat for joining us on this journey. Again, we've got a little more left for this game to bring you next month, but for now, hope you enjoy this penultimate can't miss part of Shadow Hearts (and if you like what you see, stop by https://www.twitch.tv/captainditrag, usually each Saturday at 7 PM EST, but the schedule over there will tell you what our next show and time will be, to see these streams live and join/help drive the conversations on what we play each week)!
