Support Your Climbing Community by Sharing on Facebook
0You can support your climbing community or any community you are a part of, by learning to share on Facebook.
When you find an article, photo, or something worthwhile that you think brings value to your tribe, share it. Here's how:
1. Find the "Share" button at the bottom of the article. [It is only the word "share" and not actually a button.]
2. Click it. It will bring up a new menu right there under your cursor.
3. Choose the way in which you want to share it.
a. Share now (Public) gets shared quickly and automatically on your personal feed
b. Share...brings up additional ways to share - covered in point 4 below
c. Send as a message - you have this option to share your worthwhile info directly with a friend as a message
4. Clicking on the Share...choice brings up even more ways to share your worthwhile info - and gives you the option to add your comments.
a. Share on your own Timeline
b. Share on a Friend's Timeline
c. Share in a Group
d. Share in an Event
e. Share on a page you manage
f. Share in a private message
5. If you made it this far, then you should have the confidence to share on Facebook with the people who will find your "shares" important.
