I wanted to make a post about the updates causing issues for some users and not others.

We now are recommending going to the online tool kit and running the RetroPie update fix first as this will remove the old setup and add a clean install of the RetroPie Setup installer and you will see that you will now be updated to 4.6 with no issues 👍

For those having Dreamcast issue after the update this is because RetroPie looks to have removed a few emulators from there installer ( most likely for compatibility or Because the Pi 4 has more power they have also added update cores that can take advantage of the Pi 4 ex Redream and Mame ) causing issues but please don’t worry again there is a fix you can add to fix this issue under Dreamcast fix.

For those having pixel missing or desktop not loading this is because Supreme uses a Custom 64bit kernel used to play the 64bit applications like dolphin. So I recommend not updating the kernel at this time and if you do this is fine you will still have the support but you will need to update pixel and or reinstall it to get it to work once again.
