Arclight Rumble is an action strategy game set within the warcraft universe

You use miniatures of warcraft characters to battle each other in either single player combat in an epic Conquest campaign filled with Dungeons and Raids, or play multiplayer co-op against AI or vs other players in PvP.
The gameplay is straightforward:

Units are summoned to a specific lane and will march down that lane automatically until they reach an enemy, where they will then begin battle. Units are locked within their lane unless they come across an arrow in that lane, which allows them to switch lanes.

Units can only be summoned around your base, but as you progress you can capture Guard Towers or Summoning Stones which allow you to deploy your units further up the lane, closer to your objective. Controlling the map is key to victory in Arclight Rumble.

Your enemy will also be summoning units on the opposite side of the lane, and when your units meet, they will battle.

Each unit is unique – flying troops are strong against melee units and Siege units deal additional damage to Guard towers, so choosing the right army composition is important.
You also have leaders which can turn the tide of the battle. Leaders possess special abilities depending on faction.

Alliance leaders support defense, healing, and stealth tactics along with lots of spells.

Horde leaders excel at momentum play, generating additional gold, summoning fast attacking troops, and equipped with powerful area of effect crowd control.

Beast Leaders excel at sieging enemy bases by disabling enemy defenses, and overwhelming opponents with swarms of enemies.
Blackrock Leaders empower your heavy-hitting flying troops and searing elemental magic users.

Undead Leaders use powerful necromancy to summon endless armies of the dead to desecrate the battlefield, and use spells which grow stronger with each cast.

There’s one primary resource in the game which is gold used to summon your units to the battlefield.

Gold is gained passively over time but can also be mined or found in treasure chests across the battlefield.

Missions take place across a world map, within each map there are zones each containing exactly 5 battles. Successfully completing all 5 battles unlocks the next zone until you’ve won every battle across the entire map.
After you win a battle, you are awarded a Skull which keeps tally of how many battles you’ve won.

Once you collect enough Skulls, new content is unlocked such as Quests, PvP scenarios, and even Raids where multiple players come together to defeat monsters that would otherwise be impossible to defeat alone.
When it comes to progression there are more than 65 units to collect, each with unique abilities with strengths and weaknesses, so you’ll need to experiment with creating the perfect unit composition.

After each battle you gain experience to level up your units and unlock new talents.

All of this is free to play with the option to purchase new units with real money being in the game. But the purchasable units don’t appear to be completely overpowered compared to the ones you unlock through gameplay.

And most notably of all this is a mobile game. This is a different course for Blizzard since previously only making primarily PC games until they dove into mobile with Diablo Immortal and now Arclight Rumble.
Are you going to give Arclight Rumble a try? If interested, you can pre-register for a chance to get early access to the game on both the Google Play and Apple App Store.
