7 Shocking New Changes Coming to Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Hey welcome back today we’re going to talk about NEW INFORMATION about CHANGES COMING to wrath of the lich king classic. 1. Removing Dungeon Finder
Alright first things first is that Dungeon Finder, as we know it, will NOT be in Wrath. In an interview THIS WEEK we heard from the man himself Brian Birmingham that there will NOT be Dungeon Finder in wrath classic. BUT they are still putting a tool together that won’t sacrifice our treasured human-to-human interaction.

The new tool will be similar to modern World of Warcraft’s Premade Group Finder and Burning Crusade Classic’s Looking For Group tool for inspiration and ideas.

It seems the main reason why Blizzard is against Dungeon Finder is that you’re unlikely to see your groupmates again which makes the interaction feel transactional and invites negative behavior.

Now if you’ve ever used the Burning Crusade Group Finder you know that pretty much nobody is using it. And Blizzard is aware of this and is looking to make it more enticing by improving the interface or adding an incentive to try it. Sounds to me like Dungeon Finder but with more steps.

And the Perky Pug is confirmed going to be in Wrath, achieveable through an in-game activity related to grouping up just like he was originally.

2. Changing Raid Lockouts

Changing how Raid Lockouts work has been a discussion amongst the team, figuring out a way to reduce the number of "required" runs players might feel obligated to do once Heroic Raids are available.

For example Trial of the Crusader could be run 4 times in a week – both 10 and 25 man normal and heroic. So Blizzard is going to make Normal and Heroic Modes share a lockout, but Heroic versions of raids won’t exist until the phase Trial of the Crusader releases. Blizzard is looking to try to make them activatable hard-modes like Ulduar was, that would inherently make them share a lock-out as they did in Ulduar. Still a work in progress.
3. Race Change & Faction Change

Race and Faction Change services will not be available in Wrath of the Lich King Classic and the team is exploring various ideas on how to balance racial abilities…. Every man for himself? I mean – will to survive? Will this ability survive
