A video, where the fatalities... or should I say brutalities (like in Mortal Kombat X) including the ones with the weapons usage, were presented. I know the final boss named Dantel has finishers too, but I didn't know how to unlock him.
Survival Arts is an infamous fighting game with the digitalized sprites and gore, which in 1993 was developed by Scarab and published by Sammy, the one who published also the first Guilty Gear.
An opponent dies fatally depending on which special move you are going to end a battle with. I may be sure this arcade game and the Samurai Shodown series were the ones to inspire the brutalities in Mortal Kombat X.

Survival Arts (サバイバルアーツ, Sabaibaru Ātsu) is a 1993 fighting arcade game developed by Scarab and published by Sammy. It uses digitized images of real actors with blood and gore, similar to Midway's arcade hit Mortal Kombat.
Ports for the Super NES and Sega Genesis were announced in early 1994, but quietly cancelled the following year. The monks from Viper's stage later appeared in Dyna Gear, another arcade game developed by Scarab and published by Sammy.
In case you thought that Ultra Vortek and SF:The Movie were weak :) Basically everything here is not right - the characters (especially the last boss' entrance animation rocks :), gameplay mechanics, special moves. Only the gore saves this one from being totally forgotten. Without a doubt one of the worst fighting games ever :)
NOTE: As far as I know the game does not contain any 'real' fatalities but finishing the fight with certain special moves or weapons results in nice gory animations.
