Iām playing Survivorman VR The Descent on PSVR2 with Sense controllers.
In this video I finish the game in standard mode. I make it down the mountain, by canoe and reach the coast. But im not alone and have to take a polar bears dinner, while not becoming dessert before i am rescued.
The game is based on Les Strouds show, Survivorman and this vr experience feels like being in one of his episodes, and it does it well.
The graphics looked good and the gameplay was interesting. I genuinely learnt some survival techniques from playing this and had fun with Les as a fan of his show.
I think if you are a fan of the show you will get your moneys worth at full price but ideally id wait for a sale, if youāre not a fan of the show and just looking for a game to play, it would be a sale recommendation or even a pass. Itās more an experience than game.
Overall id give Survivorman VR 6/10. For the price you dont get much game.
