Susan Crawford, chair of the "Tech for Governance: Community-Driven Innovation" track of DML2013, discusses her observations of 'millennials' and how they're tackling community challenges.

(04:11) "[DML2013] is a quite a moment for these subjects. We've got little, bright, shiny objects of experiments taking place all around the world [...] we haven't yet gotten traction with the broad public, but it's going to happen soon. [...] There's a tipping point coming--a real breaking point."

The 2013 DML conference will be held March 14-16, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. The conference is supported by the MacArthur Foundation and organized by the Digital Media and Learning Research Hub located at the University of California's systemwide Humanities Research Institute at UC Irvine.
